India's share of global greenfield investments between 2020 and 2025 stands at 5.7%, more than double China's 2.8%, according to a UNCTAD report. While strategic sectors like AI infrastructure attracted significant investment, these remain concentrated in Europe and North America. Developing Asia, including India, is a key recipient, though integration challenges persist for the global South. India also ranks high in industrial policy implementation, reflecting its growing economic influence and domestic demand.
