Class 12 student Kridha Gupta from Ambala established RunX, a women-only running club that has grown to over 200 members. Initially focused on providing a safe space for women to exercise, the club expanded its mission to address concerns about public safety. Through RunX, Gupta successfully raised approximately Rs 8 lakh, which funded the installation of five streetlights in poorly lit areas. This initiative has also influenced Ambala's 2026 civic policy agenda, pushing for improved lighting and safer public spaces.

अंबाला की 12वीं कक्षा की छात्रा क्रीड़ा गुप्ता ने रनएक्स (RunX) नाम से एक महिलाओं के लिए खास रनिंग क्लब शुरू किया है, जिसमें अब 200 से ज़्यादा सदस्य जुड़ चुकी हैं। शुरुआत में इसका मकसद महिलाओं को कसरत के लिए एक सुरक्षित जगह देना था, लेकिन बाद में क्लब ने सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा से जुड़ी चिंताओं को भी अपने मिशन में शामिल कर लिया। रनएक्स के ज़रिए गुप्ता ने करीब 8 लाख रुपये जुटाए, जिनसे कम रोशनी वाले इलाकों में 5 स्ट्रीटलाइटें लगाई गईं। इस पहल का असर अंबाला की 2026 की नागरिक नीति के एजेंडे पर भी पड़ा है, जिसमें बेहतर रोशनी और सुरक्षित सार्वजनिक जगहों की मांग को बढ़ावा मिला है।
