The Supreme Court has requested responses from news portal NewsClick and its editor-in-chief Prabir Purkayastha. This comes after the Enforcement Directorate filed a plea challenging a Delhi High Court order that had previously quashed a money laundering case against them. The case involved alleged violations of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) rules. The High Court had stated that the FIR and subsequent ED case were an abuse of the legal process.
