He stated that the Congress is ready to accept any "practical proposal" offered by Yadav. This shift follows his appointment as the Working President of Uttar Pradesh Congress.

पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रमुख नेता और सहारनपुर से कांग्रेस सांसद इमरान मसूद ने सपा के प्रति अपने सार्वजनिक बयानों में काफी बदलाव किया है। पहले 2027 उत्तर प्रदेश चुनावों के लिए सीट-बंटवारे पर स्पष्टता की मांग करने और तीखी आलोचना के लिए जाने जाने वाले मसूद ने अब सपा प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव के प्रति नरमी का रुख अपनाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस यादव द्वारा दिए गए किसी भी "व्यावहारिक प्रस्ताव" को स्वीकार करने के लिए तैयार है। यह बदलाव उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष के रूप में उनकी नियुक्ति के बाद आया है।
