Ganesha Procession Draws Huge Crowds in Shivamogga

The immersion procession of a Ganesha idol installed by the Hindu Mahasabha attracted a massive crowd in Shivamogga city on Friday. Hundreds of devotees participated, with the procession continuing late into the night. Local leaders, including Shivamogga MLA S.N. Channabasappa and former Minister K.S. Eshwarappa, were present. The district administration and police deployed over 4,000 personnel to manage the event and maintain high alert along the route.

शिवमोग्गा शहर में शुक्रवार को हिंदू महासभा द्वारा स्थापित गणेश प्रतिमा के विसर्जन जुलूस में भारी भीड़ उमड़ी। सैकड़ों भक्तों ने हिस्सा लिया और जुलूस देर रात तक चला। शिवमोग्गा MLA एस.एन. चन्नबसप्पा और पूर्व मंत्री के.एस. ईश्वरप्पा सहित स्थानीय नेता भी मौजूद थे। जिला प्रशासन और पुलिस ने कार्यक्रम को संभालने और रास्ते में कड़ी सुरक्षा बनाए रखने के लिए 4,000 से अधिक जवानों को तैनात किया था।
