Ashwin Slams Selectors For 'Unfair' Jaiswal Snub in NZ ODIs

Times of India - Sports · sports

Ravichandran Ashwin has criticised the BCCI selection committee for omitting young batter Yashasvi Jaiswal from India's ODI squad against New Zealand. Ashwin believes Jaiswal deserved a chance in the final two matches, especially with Shubman Gill being rested, to maintain his confidence and development. He argued that selectors should ensure talented players like Jaiswal, a consistent run-scorer, get opportunities to stay involved. Ashwin stressed that it is the responsibility of the team management and selectors to look after such a precious talent.
