A tenth-class student in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, was critically injured after being attacked with an electric chainsaw in her classroom. The incident occurred during a mathematics lesson at Zilla Parishad High School in Raptadu. The accused, identified as Hemanth, a close relative of the victim, was apprehended within hours at Dharmavaram railway station.
