India's ODI series against West Indies has drawn criticism from coach Gautam Gambhir due to excessively flat pitches. Gambhir expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that the matches have become mere batting contests with little for bowlers, which he believes is not ideal preparation for future tournaments like the 2027 World Cup. He highlighted that the conditions, including shorter boundaries and multiple new balls, heavily favour batsmen.
