AISA Calls for Broader Unity to Protect Voting Rights

AISA national president Neha Bora announced efforts to unite various political parties and civil society members to challenge the BJP-led government over alleged threats to citizens' voting rights. She stated that they are trying to forge a larger unity beyond the INDIA bloc constituents to address the issue of voter list deletions through SIR. Bora will join a protest at Jantar Mantar, urging maximum participation to demand the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

AISA की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नेहा बोरा ने बीजेपी-नीत सरकार को नागरिकों के वोटिंग अधिकारों को कथित तौर पर खतरे में डालने के खिलाफ चुनौती देने के लिए विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों और नागरिक समाज के सदस्यों को एकजुट करने के प्रयासों की घोषणा की। उन्होंने कहा कि वे SIR के माध्यम से मतदाता सूची से नाम हटाने के मुद्दे को संबोधित करने के लिए INDIA गठबंधन के घटकों से परे एक बड़ी एकता बनाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। बोरा जंतर मंतर में एक विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल होंगी, जिसमें सीईसी ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग के लिए अधिकतम भागीदारी का आग्रह किया गया है।
