Members of the South Goa Advocates Association (SGAA) protested at the South Goa collectorate over significant delays and alleged corruption in revenue offices. Advocates claim the standard operating procedure issued in December 2024 is not being followed, leading to common people's harassment. They submitted a memorandum to the collector detailing issues like missing files, non-chronological processing, and preferential treatment for agents paying bribes. The association demanded an independent inquiry and a system to track files. The collector assured that issues would be addressed within a week and an inquiry conducted.

साउथ गोवा एडवोकेट्स एसोसिएशन (SGAA) के सदस्यों ने राजस्व दफ्तरों में हो रही भारी देरी और कथित भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ साउथ गोवा कलेक्ट्रेट में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। वकीलों का दावा है कि दिसंबर 2024 में जारी की गई मानक संचालन प्रक्रिया का पालन नहीं किया जा रहा है, जिससे आम लोगों को परेशानी हो रही है। उन्होंने कलेक्टर को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा जिसमें फाइलों के गायब होने, गैर-कालानुक्रमिक प्रसंस्करण और रिश्वत देने वाले एजेंटों को तरजीह देने जैसे मुद्दों का विवरण दिया गया। एसोसिएशन ने एक स्वतंत्र जांच और फाइलों को ट्रैक करने के लिए एक प्रणाली की मांग की। कलेक्टर ने आश्वासन दिया कि एक सप्ताह के भीतर मुद्दों का समाधान किया जाएगा और जांच की जाएगी।
