GMDA Plans 3.3km Drain to End Dwarka Expressway Sector Flooding
Times of India · india
The GMDA is planning a 3.3 km stormwater drainage network to address recurring waterlogging issues in new sectors along the Dwarka Expressway. This proposed drain will run through sectors 37C, 37D, and 9B, ultimately discharging into the Badshapur drain. The project, estimated at Rs 20 crore, aims to provide a proper outlet for rainwater from these newly developed residential areas. Residents have faced significant problems annually due to inadequate drainage, impacting daily commutes and damaging roads.
