Varanasi Meat, Fish Shops To Remain Closed During Navratri And Air Show

Varanasi Nagar Nigam has ordered the closure of all meat, fish, and poultry shops from October 11 to October 19 during the Navratri festival. This measure aims to respect the sentiments of devotees and is also mandated within a two-kilometer radius of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Additionally, security for the 'Aerial Display-2026' by the Indian Air Force has led to a ban on meat and fish sales within a 30-kilometer radius of Namo Ghat from October 19 to 26 to prevent bird strikes.

वाराणसी नगर निगम ने नवरात्रि उत्सव के दौरान 11 अक्टूबर से 19 अक्टूबर तक सभी मांस, मछली और पोल्ट्री की दुकानों को बंद करने का आदेश दिया है। यह कदम भक्तों की भावनाओं का सम्मान करने के लिए उठाया गया है और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ धाम के दो किलोमीटर के दायरे में भी यह अनिवार्य है। इसके अतिरिक्त, भारतीय वायु सेना द्वारा 'एरियल डिस्प्ले-2026' की सुरक्षा के लिए 19 अक्टूबर से 26 अक्टूबर तक नमो घाट के 30 किलोमीटर के दायरे में पक्षी हमलों को रोकने के लिए मांस और मछली की बिक्री पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है।
