Rupee Falls Against Dollar Amid Soaring Oil

The Indian rupee depreciated by 39 paise against the US dollar on Monday, opening lower due to soaring crude oil prices and heightened Middle East tensions. Brent crude surged after Iran threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, impacting global energy markets. Despite market volatility, foreign investors continued to support Indian equities, and India's foreign exchange reserves saw an increase of over seven billion dollars.

सोमवार को अमेरिकी डॉलर के मुकाबले भारतीय रुपया 39 पैसे गिर गया। कच्चे तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों और मध्य पूर्व में तनाव बढ़ने के कारण यह गिरावट देखी गई। ईरान द्वारा हॉरमुज जलडमरूमध्य को बंद करने की धमकी के बाद ब्रेंट क्रूड में उछाल आया, जिससे वैश्विक ऊर्जा बाजारों पर असर पड़ा। बाजार में उथल-पुथल के बावजूद, विदेशी निवेशकों ने भारतीय इक्विटी का समर्थन जारी रखा और भारत के विदेशी मुद्रा भंडार में सात अरब डॉलर से अधिक की वृद्धि हुई।
