Germany Slams US Push To Readmit Russia To Global Stage

German Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil has strongly criticized US efforts to reintegrate Russia into the global community. He stated that Germany and other Europeans will not accept Russia returning as a normal member of the G20. Klingbeil emphasized that discussions with Russia should not come at the expense of Ukraine or its President Zelenskyy. He reiterated Germany's firm stance of support for Ukraine, condemning Russia's brutal war and demanding its immediate cessation. Klingbeil made these remarks following a G20 finance meeting in Bangkok.
