CJP Leaders Detained in Delhi Released on Bail With Good Behaviour Bond

Three leaders of the CJP, including Abhijeet Deepke, were detained in Delhi while attempting to protest at Jantar Mantar. They were presented before an executive magistrate and released on a Rs 50,000 bail bond, conditioned on maintaining peace and good behaviour for one year. The CJP had planned the protest to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in voter list revision. Despite the leaders' release, the party indicated its protest plans might continue, facing ongoing police restrictions in New Delhi.
