Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Anantapur (JNTUA) Vice-Chancellor H. Sudarsana Rao has been elected as the chairman of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Andhra Pradesh section for the 2027-2031 term. The election results were announced by the ISTE, with elections for section chairmen conducted across 19 sections in September-October 2026. Rao emphasized the need for ISTE to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industrial needs. He also highlighted the importance of student empowerment, faculty development, and integrating emerging technologies like AI and Machine Learning into technical education.

जवाहरलाल नेहरू टेक्नोलॉजिकल यूनिवर्सिटी-अनंतपुर (जेएनटीयूए) के वाइस-चांसलर एच. सुदर्शन राव को 2027-2031 के कार्यकाल के लिए इंडियन सोसाइटी फॉर टेक्निकल एजुकेशन (ISTE) आंध्र प्रदेश सेक्शन का चेयरमैन चुना गया है। चुनाव के नतीजे ISTE ने घोषित किए, जिसमें सितंबर-अक्टूबर 2026 में 19 सेक्शनों में सेक्शन चेयरमैन के चुनाव हुए थे। राव ने जोर देकर कहा कि ISTE को अकादमिक ज्ञान और औद्योगिक जरूरतों के बीच की खाई को पाटना होगा। उन्होंने छात्र सशक्तिकरण, फैकल्टी डेवलपमेंट और AI और मशीन लर्निंग जैसी उभरती प्रौद्योगिकियों को तकनीकी शिक्षा में एकीकृत करने के महत्व पर भी प्रकाश डाला।
