कर्नाटक में गुटखा और तंबाकू वाले पान मसाले की बिक्री पर एक साल के लिए रोक लगा दी गई है। यह आदेश 10 अगस्त 2026 को जारी हुआ और उसी दिन से पूरे राज्य में लागू हो गया है। सरकार का मकसद तंबाकू उत्पादों का सेवन कम करना और लोगों के स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाना है। इस फैसले से इन उत्पादों को बेचने वालों और खरीदने वालों, दोनों पर असर पड़ेगा। अधिकारी नए नियमों का पालन करवाएंगे।
