Stellantis Buys Full Control Of Citroen India Plant

Stellantis has acquired full ownership of its Citroen manufacturing facility in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu, purchasing the remaining stake from HMFCL. This move aims to simplify governance and accelerate decision-making. The company targets a significant production increase at the plant, aiming for over 43,000 units annually by 2028, a rise from its current capacity. This expansion includes doubling the direct workforce and strengthening exports to eight markets.

स्टेलेंटिस ने तमिलनाडु के तिरुवल्लूर में अपनी सिट्रोएन (Citroen) मैन्युफैक्चरिंग फैसिलिटी का पूरा मालिकाना हक़ खरीद लिया है। उन्होंने HMFCL से बाकी हिस्सेदारी ले ली है। इससे कंपनी का प्रबंधन आसान होगा और फैसले तेज़ी से लिए जा सकेंगे। कंपनी 2028 तक प्लांट में उत्पादन बढ़ाकर 43,000 यूनिट से ज़्यादा करने का लक्ष्य रखती है। साथ ही, सीधे तौर पर काम करने वाले लोगों की संख्या दोगुनी की जाएगी और आठ देशों में निर्यात बढ़ाया जाएगा।
