Indian pilot Captain Smit Machhar, who was severely injured in an attack by a co-pilot on a Flydubai flight, is slowly recovering. He is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE, under the care of the Indian Embassy and his family. The incident occurred when the co-pilot attacked Machhar and attempted to damage the aircraft. Despite his injuries, Machhar managed to open the cockpit door, allowing the crew to subdue the attacker and land the plane safely.
