Three Gujarat Residents Kidnapped in Ethiopia Demanding Rs 1 Crore Ransom

Three individuals from Gujarat, two women and a man related to each other, have reportedly been kidnapped in Ethiopia while attempting to travel to the US via an illegal route. Their families claim the abductors are demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore for their safe release. The trio left Gujarat on September 20 and have been out of contact since September 22. Relatives have already paid significant sums to agents for the journey and are now appealing to the government for assistance in bringing them back safely.

गुजरात के तीन लोग, जिनमें दो महिलाएं और एक पुरुष शामिल हैं जो आपस में रिश्तेदार हैं, कथित तौर पर अमेरिका जाने के अवैध रास्ते से यात्रा करने की कोशिश करते समय इथियोपिया में उनका अपहरण कर लिया गया है। उनके परिवार वालों का दावा है कि अपहरणकर्ता उनकी सुरक्षित रिहाई के लिए 1 करोड़ रुपये की फिरौती मांग रहे हैं। तीनों 20 सितंबर को गुजरात से निकले थे और 22 सितंबर से उनसे संपर्क नहीं हो पाया है। रिश्तेदारों ने पहले ही यात्रा के लिए एजेंटों को बड़ी रकम का भुगतान कर दिया है और अब वे सरकार से उन्हें सुरक्षित वापस लाने में मदद की अपील कर रहे हैं।
