LPU Students Allege University Scripted Video

LPU in Punjab have alleged that a university-released video countering rape claims was scripted. Three students claimed they were instructed on what to say and that the clip was edited and posted without their consent. This comes after protests erupted on campus over allegations of a student being raped and subsequently dying by suicide. The university had released a video featuring its registrar and students to address the circulating claims.

पंजाब में LPU के छात्रों ने आरोप लगाया है कि यूनिवर्सिटी द्वारा जारी एक वीडियो, जिसमें बलात्कार के दावों का खंडन किया गया था, स्क्रिप्टेड था। तीन छात्रों ने दावा किया कि उन्हें क्या कहना है, यह सिखाया गया था और उनकी सहमति के बिना क्लिप को एडिट करके पोस्ट किया गया था। यह तब हुआ जब एक छात्रा के साथ बलात्कार और बाद में आत्महत्या करने के आरोपों को लेकर कैंपस में विरोध प्रदर्शन शुरू हो गया था। यूनिवर्सिटी ने प्रसारित हो रहे दावों को संबोधित करने के लिए अपने रजिस्ट्रार और छात्रों की विशेषता वाला एक वीडियो जारी किया था।
