Himachal CM Inaugurates New Secretariat Buildings, Expands Medical Seats

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated Blocks 1 and 2 of Phase IV of the Armsdale Building at the state secretariat in Shimla. Approximately Rs 9 crore was spent on this expansion project, which aims to improve infrastructure alongside development. The Chief Minister also announced a significant increase in postgraduate medical seats across the state's six government medical colleges, from 277 to 597. This historic addition of 320 seats aims to strengthen medical education and specialist healthcare services within Himachal Pradesh.

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने शिमला में राज्य सचिवालय में आर्म्सडेल बिल्डिंग के फेज IV के ब्लॉक 1 और 2 का उद्घाटन किया। इस विस्तार परियोजना पर लगभग 9 करोड़ रुपये खर्च हुए, जिसका उद्देश्य विकास के साथ-साथ बुनियादी ढांचे में सुधार करना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्य के छह सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेजों में स्नातकोत्तर मेडिकल सीटों में 277 से 597 तक की महत्वपूर्ण वृद्धि की भी घोषणा की। 320 सीटों की यह ऐतिहासिक वृद्धि हिमाचल प्रदेश के भीतर मेडिकल शिक्षा और विशेषज्ञ स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं को मजबूत करने का लक्ष्य रखती है।
