Delhi Govt Urges Citizens to Use Green Crackers Only During Diwali

The Delhi government has urged citizens to adhere to Supreme Court directives regarding the use of certified green firecrackers this Diwali. Bursting of green crackers is permitted only on November 7 and 8, between 6 am and 7 am, and 8 pm to 10 pm. Sale and use of firecrackers are strictly prohibited within 300 metres of hospitals, nursing homes, and educational institutions. Only CSIR-NEERI-certified green crackers with QR codes will be allowed, sold at designated locations. Enforcement teams will monitor compliance to prevent violations.

दिल्ली सरकार ने नागरिकों से इस दिवाली पर सर्टिफाइड ग्रीन फायरक्रैकर्स के इस्तेमाल के संबंध में सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देशों का पालन करने का आग्रह किया है। ग्रीन पटाखे केवल 7 और 8 नवंबर को, सुबह 6 बजे से 7 बजे तक, और रात 8 बजे से 10 बजे के बीच फोड़ने की अनुमति है। अस्पतालों, नर्सिंग होम और शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के 300 मीटर के दायरे में पटाखों की बिक्री और इस्तेमाल पर सख्त मनाही है। केवल QR कोड वाले CSIR-NEERI-सर्टिफाइड ग्रीन पटाखे ही तय जगहों पर बेचे जाएंगे। उल्लंघन रोकने के लिए प्रवर्तन टीमें निगरानी करेंगी।
