IIT-Bombay student confessed cheating before death

New details have emerged in the IIT-Bombay student Sahil Wakode's alleged suicide case. Crime Branch investigators learned that Sahil confessed to being caught cheating during a final phone call to a friend. The friend stated that Sahil was distressed about his poor performance in a thermodynamics exam and the potential consequences. He also mentioned being caught cheating during the test. Police are continuing their investigation to confirm these claims and understand the full reasons behind his actions. Several other students have also provided statements to the authorities.

बॉम्बे के छात्र साहिल वाकोडे के कथित आत्महत्या मामले में नई जानकारी सामने आई है। क्राइम ब्रांच के जांचकर्ताओं को पता चला कि साहिल ने अपने एक दोस्त को आखिरी फोन कॉल में नकल करते पकड़े जाने की बात कबूल की थी। दोस्त ने बताया कि साहिल थर्मोडायनामिक्स की परीक्षा में अपने खराब प्रदर्शन और इसके संभावित नतीजों को लेकर परेशान था। उसने यह भी बताया कि परीक्षा के दौरान उसे नकल करते हुए पकड़ा गया था। पुलिस इन दावों की पुष्टि करने और उसके कार्यों के पीछे के पूरे कारणों को समझने के लिए जांच जारी रखे हुए है। कई अन्य छात्रों ने भी अधिकारियों को बयान दिए हैं।
