The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully completed a series of Crew Module (CM)-Service Module (SM) separation tests for its Gaganyaan human spaceflight program. These tests were conducted at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram to validate the design adequacy of the separation system. The separation of the CM from the SM is a critical step before re-entry into Earth's atmosphere.
