Amazon Proposes $309.5 Million Settlement Fund

Amazon has agreed to a proposed $309.5 million settlement fund in a class-action case concerning its return and refund policies in Washington state. The lawsuit alleged customers did not receive refunds correctly or on time, or were charged again for returned products. Amazon denies wrongdoing, and the court has not found any violations. Eligible customers could receive payments if the settlement is approved at a hearing on March 16, 2027.
