US military relied on artificial intelligence when deciding to strike an elementary school for girls in Minab, Iran, according to Bloomberg sources. The US Central Command reportedly over-relied on AI systems. The Pentagon concluded the US was responsible for the strike, finding a series of small decisions, not one, preceded the tragedy. Iran stated 175 people were killed, including 168 female students, and 95 injured.
