RJD MLA Flags Delay In Bodh Gaya Temple Committee Reconstitution

RJD MLA Kumar Sarvajeet has raised concerns over the delay in reconstituting the Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee (BTMC), which has been pending for nearly three months. He stated that this administrative vacuum could pose security and financial challenges for the Mahabodhi Mahavihara, a Unesco-listed site. The committee, which should be reconstituted every three years, has been without a regular member-secretary since July 16.

RJD विधायक कुमार सर्वजीत ने बोधगया मंदिर प्रबंधन समिति (BTMC) के पुनर्गठन में हो रही देरी पर चिंता जताई है, जो लगभग तीन महीने से लंबित है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रशासनिक शून्यता से यूनेस्को-सूचीबद्ध स्थल महाबोधि महाविहार के लिए सुरक्षा और वित्तीय चुनौतियाँ खड़ी हो सकती हैं। समिति, जिसका पुनर्गठन हर तीन साल में होना चाहिए, 16 जुलाई से नियमित सदस्य-सचिव के बिना है।
