Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Josh Simmons has been placed on injured reserve due to a bulging disk in his lower back. This injury guarantees he will miss at least four more weeks, having already been sidelined for the first five games of the season. Undrafted rookie Kahlil Benson will continue to protect Patrick Mahomes' blind side. Joshua Ezeudu is expected to start at right tackle as Jaylon Moore remains in concussion protocol.
