New Zealand's parliament has approved a free trade agreement with India, paving the way for its operationalisation next month. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated the deal will create more jobs and higher incomes for New Zealanders by opening access to 1.4 billion Indian consumers. The agreement will grant duty-free access for all Indian exports and includes New Zealand's commitment to invest $20 billion.

न्यूज़ीलैंड की संसद ने भारत के साथ एक फ्री ट्रेड एग्रीमेंट को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। अगले महीने से यह लागू हो जाएगा। प्रधानमंत्री Christopher Luxon ने कहा कि इस डील से 1.4 अरब भारतीय ग्राहकों तक पहुंच बढ़ेगी, जिससे न्यूज़ीलैंड में नौकरियां बढ़ेंगी और लोगों की आय भी बढ़ेगी। इस समझौते के तहत भारत से आने वाले सभी सामान पर ड्यूटी नहीं लगेगी और न्यूज़ीलैंड 20 अरब डॉलर का निवेश करेगा।
