मैसूर के मंत्री एस.टी. सोमशेखर ने मैसूर सिटी कॉर्पोरेशन (MCC) को निर्देश दिया है कि वे दशहरे के त्यौहार से एक हफ्ता पहले ही सड़कों के सारे सुधार कार्य पूरे कर लें। यह कदम इसलिए उठाया गया है ताकि पिछले सालों की तरह निर्माण कार्य की वजह से त्यौहार में कोई रुकावट न आए। इससे दशहरे में आने वाले हजारों पर्यटकों और स्थानीय लोगों को आने-जाने में आसानी होगी।
