दिल्ली पुलिस ने 2020 के दिल्ली दंगों की साजिश के मामले में छात्र नेता शरजील इमाम को मिली अंतरिम जमानत रद्द करने की मांग की है। पुलिस का आरोप है कि इमाम ने अस्थायी रिहाई के दौरान मीडिया कर्मियों से बातचीत करके जमानत की शर्तों का उल्लंघन किया है, और इसके सबूत के तौर पर एक वीडियो पेश किया है। अदालत ने इमाम को 4 अक्टूबर से 10 अक्टूबर तक सात दिनों की अंतरिम जमानत दी थी, जो उनके चचेरे भाई की शादी के लिए थी, और इसमें मीडिया से बातचीत न करने की सख्त शर्तें थीं। जनवरी 2020 में गिरफ्तार हुए इमाम पर UAPA के तहत आरोप हैं और उन पर दंगों का मुख्य साजिशकर्ता होने का आरोप है।
