Foreign Nationals' Details Must Be Reported Within 24 Hours, Chittoor SP Cautions

Chittoor Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi has instructed all establishments hosting foreign nationals to mandatorily register their details online within 24 hours of arrival. This includes hotels, guest houses, hospitals, and educational institutions, which must upload arrival, stay, and departure information to FRRO and FRO offices digitally. Failure to comply with Section 8 of the Immigration and Foreigners Act, 2025, by submitting details on the designated portal, can result in penalties ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh or a jail term of two to seven years.
