OSD Ghuman Appears Before CBI For Third Time Amid Probe

Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Punjab chief minister, Rajbir Singh Ghuman, appeared before the CBI for the third time on Friday. He was previously questioned for 4.5 hours. The Supreme Court had granted Ghuman interim protection from coercive action, directing his cooperation with the investigation. The CBI's probe, stemming from a case registered under High Court directives, focuses on allegations of influence-peddling and tender manipulation. The agency must submit its investigation report.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री के ओएसडी (ऑफिसर ऑन स्पेशल ड्यूटी) राजबीर सिंह घुमन शुक्रवार को तीसरी बार सीबीआई के सामने पेश हुए। इससे पहले उनसे 4.5 घंटे तक पूछताछ की गई थी। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने घुमन को गिरफ्तारी से अंतरिम राहत दी थी और जांच में सहयोग करने का निर्देश दिया था। हाई कोर्ट के आदेश पर दर्ज मामले की सीबीआई जांच, प्रभाव-पैठ और टेंडर में हेरफेर के आरोपों पर केंद्रित है। एजेंसी को अपनी जांच रिपोर्ट सौंपनी होगी।
