Jordanian Police Arrest Three Suspects in Deadly Church Attack

Jordanian security forces have arrested three suspects in connection with a rare attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Karak governorate that killed eight people and wounded over two dozen. The suspects, identified as Jordanians, were apprehended in a dawn raid after resisting arrest in an abandoned house. Interior Minister Mazin al-Farrayeh stated that the "extremist terrorists" put up fierce resistance and sustained severe injuries. Firearms and ammunition were recovered from their hideout. King Abdullah II ordered security forces to respond with an "iron fist" to the unprecedented attack.
