Mamata Banerjee Condemns Arrest of CJP Leaders, Cites 'Murder of Democracy'

She stated that democracy is being "murdered" in India and that the BJP-led central government is "nearing its end." Banerjee expressed solidarity with the youth, pledging to stand with them to protect the nation. TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee also criticized the arrests, comparing the current situation in India to Pakistan.

पश्चिम बंगाल की पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ममता बनर्जी ने कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (सीजेपी) के नेताओं आशुतोष रांका और सौरभ दास की गिरफ्तारी की कड़ी निंदा की है, इसे एक पीढ़ी को डराने और चुप कराने की कोशिश बताया है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत में लोकतंत्र की 'हत्या' की जा रही है और भाजपा नीत केंद्र सरकार 'अपने अंत के करीब' है। बनर्जी ने युवाओं के साथ एकजुटता व्यक्त की और देश की रक्षा के लिए उनके साथ खड़े रहने का संकल्प लिया। टीएमसी सांसद अभिषेक बनर्जी ने भी गिरफ्तारियों की आलोचना करते हुए भारत की मौजूदा स्थिति की तुलना पाकिस्तान से की।
