Europe Heart Disease Prevention Targets Missed

A major international study reveals that most people with coronary heart disease across Europe are not meeting recommended targets for preventing further cardiovascular events. The EUROASPIRE VI survey, which included 8,590 patients, found that over four out of five patients failed to achieve these crucial health goals. This widespread failure highlights a significant public health challenge in managing cardiovascular disease effectively across the continent.
