Lorry owners from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have urged the Telangana Transport Minister to resolve the long-pending issue of counter-signature permits for goods transport vehicles. This matter has remained unresolved since the 2014 bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, causing significant difficulties for transporters in both states for nearly 12 years. Representatives requested a meeting between the Transport Ministers of both states to coordinate efforts and find an early solution. Resolving this would provide considerable relief and facilitate the smooth movement of goods between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
