BJP Slams Telangana CM Over Remarks on Ram

The BJP has strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for his remarks contrasting Lord Ram and Lord Shiva. Reddy, speaking at a media conclave, suggested the BJP had "stolen" Lord Ram and that Shiva is the deity of the poor, while Ram is for the rich. BJP leaders accused the Congress of attempting to divide Hindus and Sanatan Dharma for political gain. They highlighted religious traditions where Lord Ram worshipped Lord Shiva, stating that devotees of both deities are not separate communities.
