Banks Face 99% Haircut in Subhash Chandra Case

Leading banks are set to take a significant 99% haircut in the personal guarantee case involving Subhash Chandra. Creditors holding over 80% of voting rights have approved a repayment plan. This plan allows banks to receive only ₹6.5 crore against their total claims of ₹22,006.57 crore. The court has deferred the commercial decision to the creditors regarding the recovery process.

सुभाष चंद्रा के पर्सनल गारंटी मामले में बड़े बैंक 99% का भारी नुकसान उठाने वाले हैं। 80% से ज़्यादा वोटिंग अधिकार वाले लेनदारों ने एक रीपेमेंट प्लान को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। इस प्लान के तहत, बैंक ₹22,006.57 करोड़ के कुल दावों के बदले सिर्फ़ ₹6.5 करोड़ ही वसूल पाएंगे। कोर्ट ने रिकवरी प्रक्रिया का कमर्शियल फैसला लेनदारों पर छोड़ दिया है।
