India Exports $140 Million Duty-Free Goods to UK

India exported over $140 million worth of goods duty-free to the UK on the first day of their trade pact. Over fifty export consignments, including electronics, pharmaceuticals, and textiles, were dispatched from twenty locations. The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement grants Indian exports nearly 99% duty-free access to the UK market.

भारत और यूके के बीच व्यापार समझौते के पहले दिन, भारत ने यूके को 140 मिलियन डॉलर से ज़्यादा का सामान बिना ड्यूटी के भेजा। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स, दवाइयों और कपड़ों सहित पचास से ज़्यादा खेप बीस जगहों से रवाना हुईं। इस समझौते से भारतीय सामानों को यूके बाज़ार में लगभग 99% तक ड्यूटी-फ्री पहुँच मिल गई है।
