कर्नाटक विधानसभा में कस्तूरीरंगन रिपोर्ट और इकोलॉजिकली सेंसिटिव एरियाज़ के मसौदे पर कौन ज़िम्मेदार है, इसे लेकर राजनीतिक आरोप-प्रत्यारोप का दौर चला। सत्ताधारी कांग्रेस ने मसौदा जारी करने के लिए NDA सरकार को घेरा, तो वहीं BJP ने कहा कि UPA सरकार ने ही Madhav Gadgil कमेटी से शुरुआत की थी। तनाव कम करने के लिए मुख्यमंत्री D.K. Shivakumar ने दखल दिया और कहा कि सरकार प्रभावित लोगों के साथ है।
