Wipro Q2 Revenue Sees Marginal Growth Amidst Near Four-Year Low Deal Bookings

Times of India · stocks

Wipro reported a slight 0.3% year-on-year revenue increase to $2.6 billion for its second quarter, marking a subdued start to the fiscal year's second half. The company experienced flat sequential growth, with total bookings falling to a near four-year low due to delayed deal signings and client-specific issues in its primary Americas 1 market. Operating margin improved sequentially to 16.5%, driven by operational efficiencies and rupee depreciation. Wipro anticipates these delayed deals will contribute to stronger bookings in the third quarter.
