दिल्ली पुलिस ने चुनाव आयोग (ECI) कार्यालय की ओर INDIA गठबंधन के विरोध मार्च के दौरान करीब 260 लोगों को हिरासत में लिया, जिनमें 10 सांसद भी शामिल थे। राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी जैसे नेता भी हिरासत में लिए गए, जब वे बिना अनुमति आकाशवाणी भवन में घुस गए और धरना दिया। पुलिस ने कहा कि प्रदर्शनकारियों ने बैरिकेड तोड़े और तितर-बितर होने के निर्देशों का पालन नहीं किया, जिसके बाद उन्हें भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता की धारा 163 के तहत हिरासत में लिया गया। मार्च बिना पूर्व अनुमति के शुरू हुआ था और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की गई थी।
