A Special Investigation Team probe in Bengaluru has uncovered a suspected fake-drug network supplying spurious and mislabelled medicines to over 90 hospitals and clinics. Investigators allege a licensed pharmacist used a legitimate business to distribute counterfeit cancer drugs and ICU injections, reportedly sold at up to 50% discounts. Evidence suggests a wider operation involving over 15 medical representatives, with supplies allegedly reaching Maharashtra and Gujarat.

बेंगलुरु में एक स्पेशल इन्वेस्टिगेशन टीम की जांच में नकली दवाओं का एक बड़ा नेटवर्क सामने आया है। यह नेटवर्क 90 से ज़्यादा अस्पतालों और क्लीनिकों में नकली और गलत लेबल वाली दवाएं सप्लाई कर रहा था। आरोप है कि एक लाइसेंसधारी फार्मासिस्ट ने अपने असली बिजनेस का इस्तेमाल करके नकली कैंसर की दवाएं और ICU इंजेक्शन बेचे, जो 50% तक की छूट पर बिक रहे थे।
