Young Spinner Manav Suthar Excluded From India Squad For New Zealand Tests

TV9 Hindi · sports

Young left-arm spinner Manav Suthar has been surprisingly excluded from the Indian Test squad for the upcoming series against New Zealand. Despite a strong debut performance, taking 23 wickets in his first three Tests at an impressive average of 17.35, Suthar did not secure a place in the 15-member team. The decision is attributed to New Zealand's typically green, fast pitches, which favour fast bowling. Team management likely prioritises experienced all-rounders in such conditions, making it difficult for Suthar to fit into the playing XI.
