Aung San Suu Kyi's son, Kim Aris, has demanded proof of life for his mother, who has been detained since the February 2021 military coup in Myanmar. Her lawyers have been denied access to her since her arrest. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate was ousted by the military junta.
