New Platform 'People Against SIR' Demands Outright Rejection of Electoral Roll Revision

A new joint platform named People Against SIR, comprising farmers, workers, women, and youth, has demanded the outright rejection of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. This comes a day before an Independent Commission on SIR begins hearing voter testimonies. The platform insists on rejecting and annulling the SIR, rather than fixing it. They plan to submit findings from public audits of voter lists to the commission.

किसानों, मजदूरों, महिलाओं और युवाओं से मिलकर बने एक नए संयुक्त मंच 'पीपल अगेंस्ट SIR' ने चुनावी रोल के स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) को सिरे से खारिज करने की मांग की है। यह मांग SIR पर एक स्वतंत्र आयोग द्वारा मतदाता गवाही की सुनवाई शुरू करने से एक दिन पहले आई है। मंच का कहना है कि SIR को ठीक करने के बजाय उसे खारिज और रद्द किया जाना चाहिए। वे मतदाता सूचियों के सार्वजनिक ऑडिट से मिली जानकारी को आयोग को सौंपने की योजना बना रहे हैं।
