The Union Cabinet has approved a tougher bill to combat paper leaks, proposing up to 10 years in jail and a Rs 10 crore fine for offenders. This legislation aims to significantly increase penalties for exam irregularities. The minimum jail term for paper leak offences may be doubled from the current three years to five years, reflecting the government's commitment to ensuring.

कैबिनेट ने पेपर लीक से निपटने के लिए एक सख्त बिल को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसमें दोषियों को 10 साल तक की जेल और 10 करोड़ रुपये तक का जुर्माना हो सकता है। यह कानून परीक्षा में धांधली के लिए सजा को काफी बढ़ाएगा। पेपर लीक के मामलों में न्यूनतम जेल की सजा मौजूदा तीन साल से बढ़ाकर पांच साल की जा सकती है। सरकार परीक्षाओं में निष्पक्षता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
