An eight-year-old girl who went missing for three days from Karumangazhani village near Sriperumbudur has been traced by police. She was found at a children's home in Kellys. The girl, Besty, reportedly left her grandparents' home to meet her mother in Jharkhand. She was last seen at a bus stop and later boarded a bus to Poonamallee. Railway Protection Force personnel found her unattended at Chennai Central railway station and lodged her at a children's home. Special teams confirmed her identity after inquiries.

श्रीपेरुम्बुदूर के पास करुमंगझनी गांव से तीन दिनों से लापता आठ साल की बच्ची का पुलिस ने पता लगा लिया है। वह केली में एक बच्चों के घर में मिली। बच्ची, बेस्टी, कथित तौर पर अपनी मां से मिलने के लिए झारखंड जाने हेतु अपने दादा-दादी के घर से निकली थी। उसे आखिरी बार बस स्टॉप पर देखा गया था और बाद में उसने पूनमल्ली के लिए बस ली थी। रेलवे सुरक्षा बल के कर्मियों ने उसे चेन्नई सेंट्रल रेलवे स्टेशन पर अकेला पाया और एक बच्चों के घर में भेज दिया। विशेष टीमों ने पूछताछ के बाद उसकी पहचान की पुष्टि की।
